Job Description:
A company is looking for a Sales Tax Specialist to manage sales
and use tax compliance and reporting functions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the filing of all sales and use, GST, indirect tax credits,
and property tax returns
Maintain tax systems for compliance and reporting, recommending
changes for efficiency
Analyze new legislation and manage sales tax audits with state tax
authorities
Required Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
(preferred)
Experience in sales/use taxation
Strong knowledge of multi-state sales and use tax laws and
compliance requirements
Proficiency in tax compliance software and ER systems (Oracle,
OneSource)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant tax technology
tools
