accounting functions of the joint venture, including processing
invoices, review of accounts payable, intercompany accounting,
reporting requirements and ad-hoc reporting. Assist Controller with
the preparation of all internal and external reporting, including
financial institutions, taxing authorities, owners, and regulatory

the Team Responsible for compiling of the weekly cash disbursement
report and maintenance of cash balances. Code and process invoices
for posting to accounts payable. Reconciles and analyzes various
company General Ledgers. Ensures appropriateness and correctness of
recorded entries. Monitor general ledger activity for accuracy and
respond to changes deemed necessary. Assist in preparation of
monthly financial consolidation and supporting schedules.
Accountable for meeting the timeliness of the monthly financial
closing schedule, including reconciling all entity-level accounts.
Prepare periodic financial reporting packages on timely basis.
Analysis of variances (actuals vs. budget). Prepare periodic loan
draw packages for submittal to lender Understand legal entity
organization structure to ensure proper accounting procedures are
applied at a transactional level. Ensure compliance with
established accounting methods and systems used in operations.
Complete ad-hoc reporting requests by Controller. Assist with
external and internal audit requests, as needed. Perform all other
duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum of five (5) years
accounting experience Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred “Big 4” or nationally
recognized audit firm experience desirable Understanding of
generally accepted accounting principles, cost accounting with an
emphasis in real estate Must have experience with joint venture,
consolidations, and eliminations Good oral and written
communication skills Able to work independently with minimal
supervision Proficiency with various computer hardware, software
and accounting systems that are used in the real estate industry.
JD Edwards accounting system experience desirable Detail oriented

individual Deadline oriented Team player Physical & Office/Site
Presence Requirements: This is primarily a sedentary office
position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop,
reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing
25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a
computer keyboard and calculator. Must operate a motor vehicle. May
require ability to work in excess of eight (8) hours per day.

Benefits: We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for
this position to range from an annual salary of $73,739.60 -
$98,229, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors
such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials
(e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.
This position may be eligible for bonuses. This position may be
eligible for commissions. This position will be eligible for the
described benefits listed in the above section in accordance with
