Highlights: As the Senior Vertical Marketing Manager for the Federal sales channel, you exceed client expectations by cross-functionally managing multiple marketing functions through the entire client life cycle process. You accelerate growth by leading marketing campaigns, lead generation, marketing operations, analytics and client life cycle management. You improve Sales success by researching and implementing marketing technologies and effective brand and content. You ensure marketing success by facilitating and managing test cycles from inception through implementation. You maximize sales efforts through the development of enticing, strategic multi-channel campaigns while promoting marketing throughout the organization. You excel at achieving sales and revenue goals through consistent client acquisition and migration for the enterprise portfolio. You have an aptitude for assembling, coaching and mentoring high-performing marketing teams. You manage your team in an office environment while guiding marketing campaigns across Spectrum Enterprise. You report to the Director of Vertical Marketing for goals, guidance and assistance. What you will do: Drive the go-to-market (GTM) business development and strategy for the Federal vertical through the cross-functional development of integrated marketing programs and tactics. Enhance the GTM and business development strategy by developing effective messaging and positioning while developing and executing campaigns and events. Ensure the achievement of pre-defined operational objectives by leading the weekly analysis and reporting on the efficacy of in-flight programs and tactics for each vertical. Maximize marketing efforts through regular collaboration with Content, Brand, Campaign Strategy, Social Media, Accounts Receivable, Public Relations and Field Marketing. Achieve company objectives by simultaneously building a strategic framework while executing on near-term opportunities. Encourage company-wide excellence by actively and consistently supporting all efforts to enhance and simplify the client experience. Be the empowering leader of marketing programs for all products and offers by managing marketing campaigns, lead generation, marketing operations and analytics, marketing technologies, client life cycle management, brand and content and test cycles from inception through implementation. Initiate the sales cycle by collaborating with business leaders to determine target strategies and schedules and ensure a successful cycle through support of client acquisition. Drive the sales cycle by developing, maintaining and communicating marketing programs for all targets, product offers and geographic areas. Increase sales by strategizing and implementing applicable programs and analyzing campaign performance across key metrics. Maximize marketing efficiency and effectiveness by tracking response and conversion, creating a budget and comparing return on investment (ROI) to cost per connect. Expand industry knowledge by communicating with internal and external research groups, industry organizations and other experts. Set and meet deadlines for multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and efficiency through strong project management skills. Perform additional duties related to the position as assigned. Required keys for success: Seven or more years of technology marketing experience. Experience identifying and executing on quick wins while building a strategic plan. Public speaking and advocacy skills and experience. Effective prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while working with a sense of urgency. Deadline-driven that can manage all phases of a large project independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. History of working with all levels of an organization while showing sound judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties. Expert at making recommendations and managing and fostering change. Track record of analyzing and interpreting data to make recommendations. Confident when presenting complex information at the executive level. Strong attention to detail balanced with a focus on the client using honesty, integrity and ethics. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Excellent spoken and written English communication skills with all levels of an organization. How you will stand out from the crowd: Seven or more years of Federal technology marketing or sales experience. Your education: Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (required). Master's degree in business administration (preferred).
