RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The HR Director must participate in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Must prepare and monitor human resources budget.
• Must have knowledge of industry trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
• The HR Director must comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Must supervise employees within the corporate team.
• Responsible for employee relations through design, communication, and interpretation of human resources policies and programs.
• Manage and implement training programs, personal and career development, performance appraisal process, succession planning, compensation systems, diversity, and benefit programs.
• The HR Director must manage relocation, employee communication, employee safety and community relations and respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
• Partner with the leadership team to execute human resource and talent strategy for current or future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
• Execute routine tasks reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
• Investigate and implement proper remedial action, participate in employee counseling, interpretation of policies, new employee orientation, and employee recognition programs.
• The HR Director must oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Bilingual skills a plus.
  QUALIFICATIONS:
  • The HR Director must hold a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.). SHRM/PHR or relevant certification is highly desired.
  • Must have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in a Human Resources leadership role.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience in learning and development management.
  • Must come from an Entertainment, Family Office, Legal or Accounting.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have worked in a diverse team.
  • Proficient with computers. HRIS system.
