Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Orange, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,947 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/21/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Orange, California, 92868! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years in Labor and Delivery License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate required, AWHONN Advanced preferred Must-Have: Must be able to circulate during deliveries and have experience in large hospital settings. Description: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse needed for night shifts. Two years of experience is required. No first-time travelers will be considered. All skills and certifications must be current. Candidates must have experience circulating. We highly prefer experience in large hospital settings. Weekend shifts may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs. Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered. Travel pairs will not be accepted. Patient ratios during days and nights are typically 1 or 2 per nurse. The unit cares for high-risk pregnancies with various diagnoses. Special procedures include cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries. Candidates must have strong knowledge of external fetal monitoring and recognize abnormal fetal heart rate patterns. A recent fire safety card is required. Two supervisory references covering work experience within the last three years are required. Travelers must be willing to float between facilities.
