The Quality Engineer will provide direct support to immediate manufacturing Quality Assurance and Control needs. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Comply with and support PCC Code of Conduct Requirements and Company policies and procedures, as well as Federal, State and Local regulations.Comply with and support AS9100, SOX requirements and all PCC Cardinal Rules, including EHS and Quality.Review and obtain approval for Manufacturing Planning Requirements Conduct First Article Inspection Planning, Coordination, Review and Approval (AS9102 and Aerospace Customer requirements)Conduct Nonconforming Material Review and dispositionPerform product nonconformance root cause analysis and corrective/preventative action coordination and executionDevelop system/Process based corrective/preventative actionPerform PPAP (production part approval process)Perform FMEA (Failure mode and effects analysis) and ensure execution of appropriate corrective actionReview CARs for viability, completion and effectiveness measurements Validate Return Material Authorization (RMA) requests for product with dimensional issuesProcess all valid RMAs Lead, validate and provide 8D responses upon customer requestAssist in the continuous improvement projects for chronic nonconformance issues Work with suppliers on continuous improvement activitiesGenerate Monthly Supplier ScorecardsOther duties as assignedExperience & Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required), Process/Continuous Improvement (preferred)Minimum 3-5 year's experience in Manufacturing Aerospace Engineering or OperationsRequired Skills Knowledge and experience in NADCAP/AS9001 Requirements Knowledge of standards and specifications: ASTM, ASM, AISI, SAE and MIL.Experience working with Quality specification requirements of major aerospace customers: Boeing, Airbus, SAFRAN, GE Aviation, GE Avio GKN, MTU, Roll Royce, Honeywell, Military, Pratt & Whitney, and others.
