Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant to provide
support in underwriting practices.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Account Executive with underwriting and brokering risks,
ensuring all necessary information and applications are
completed
Process mail, handle correspondence, and manage brokerage and
contract endorsements
Communicate with producers and other stakeholders to ensure timely
handling of submissions and follow up on applications and
inspections
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
License in General Lines
Proficient in MS Office Suite
1 - 3 years of experience in a similar position (preferred)
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
